I can’t tell you how many times I’ve heard this from moms who walk through our doors:
“I want to work out again, but I don’t know where to start.”
“I’m scared I’ll hurt myself if I do the wrong thing.”
“Will I ever feel like my old self again?”

The truth is, bringing a new baby into the world changes everything. Your sleep, your energy, your body, your schedule… even your confidence. And while everyone around you is saying “Don’t worry, you’ll bounce back,” you’re left wondering what that even means.
When we created Diapers & Dumbbells, it wasn’t about helping moms “get their body back.” It was about something much more important:
Helping moms feel strong and confident again, without the guilt, the pressure, or the fear of doing it wrong.
Why This Matters So Much
I’ve watched moms struggle with this season of life. They want to move, sweat, and take care of themselves, but they feel stuck between two worlds:
- Worried about what’s safe for their body (especially core and pelvic floor).
- Worried about finding the time or childcare to even make it possible.
That’s where the lightbulb moment happened. What if fitness wasn’t something you had to step away from your baby to do? What if you could rebuild your strength with your baby right there beside you?
That’s exactly what Diapers & Dumbbells is about.

You’ll come in, bring your baby along, and move through safe, guided workouts that are designed for this stage of life.
- We rebuild core strength and stability.
- We make movements functional, the kind that help you carry car seats, bend, lift, and keep up with daily mom-life.
- We create a space where it’s totally normal if your baby cries, needs fed, or wants to be held mid-class.
And maybe most importantly: you’ll be surrounded by other moms who get it. Moms who are right there in the trenches with you laughing, sweating, encouraging, and reminding you that you’re not in this alone.

We don’t measure success here by how quickly you “lose the baby weight” – this is gonna happen! But we measure it by how you feel.
